So what is Agronomy? Agronomy is the science and technology of producing and using plants for food, fuel, fiber, and land reclamation. Because farming has changed and become more technology based, our production needs have had to change as well. Farmers worldwide are producing larger crops in order to supply a larger world population. As a result of the growing needs on farming and agriculture, our agronomy needs have changed as well. Agronomy has moved from needing just a few basic fertilizers to developing custom fertilizer and chemical blends to fit specific soil, crop, and producer needs.
CHS Southwest Grain offers a variety of services to better fit your agronomic needs, including: soil testing, crop scouting, crop consultations, fertilizer and chemical sales, custom application of fertilizer & chemical products, Precision Ag, seed sales and tissue sampling. Our talented team at CHS Southwest Grain is here and ready to help answer any of your agronomic questions!
